Responsible for proactive, corrective, and demand maintenance of structural systems, including doors, walls, ceilings, and floors at Toronto Pearson Airport. Tasks include designing custom cabinetry, repairing low-voltage electric strikes, and monitoring contractor work.
Requires a Certificate of Qualification as a Carpenter, a secondary school diploma, and 5 years of experience in an ICI construction or maintenance environment. Must possess a valid Ontario 'G' driver's license and the ability to obtain security and airside vehicle clearances.

What you can expect from this position:
Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance Response, this position is responsible for carrying out the Pro-active Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Demand Maintenance of Structural systems at Toronto Pearson Airport.
As a Carpenter, you will:
This unionized position is classified at the Band 8 level, with an hourly wage of $50.01, based on a 40-hour work week. The successful candidate must be available to commence the duties of the position once a selection decision has been made. An eligibility list may be created.
