Responsible for ensuring operational competency through practical and classroom training, mentoring, and evaluations at the Kearl site. This includes conducting equipment training, monitoring operator performance via telematics, and maintaining training logs in the LMS.
Requires 5 years of mining operating experience, including specific experience with excavators, crawler tractors, motor graders, and haul trucks. Candidates must have coaching or supervisory experience and a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
We are seeking a Site Trainer to support our Kearl site. The position is responsible for ensuring operational competency training at the assigned site through practical training, classroom training, mentoring and evaluations. This is a great opportunity for a safety minded individual who has worked on a mining site before and enjoys working with a high performing and innovative team while making an impact.
Site: Kearl
Shift: 14 days on 14 days off - 12 hour days
Transportation: Flights provided to/from Edmonton and Calgary.
