The Shipping/Receiving Lead will manage the full shipping process, including coordinating domestic and international shipments, customs documentation, and inventory flow. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, organized department and ensuring internal teams are aligned on delivery requirements and timelines.
Candidates must have at least five years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment and hold a current forklift certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong document-management skills, and the ability to operate truck-and-trailer combinations are essential.

This is an elevated, hands-on role, not simply packing boxes or moving products with a forklift. The Shipping/Receiving Lead will own the department and the full shipping process, thinking ahead to prevent delays, managing detailed paperwork, and coordinating vendors.
The right person will be proactive, organized and comfortable taking the lead without waiting for direction. They will bring ideas forward, maintain a clean and orderly department, and communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, project managers and the production team, even when priorities compete or pushback is required. This position does not have any direct reports.
Nice to have: Current Fall Arrest, First Aid or crane operator certification.
