Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience on a paving crew, with at least 2 years specifically in asphalt raking. A valid Class 5 Driver's License and the physical ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Reporting to the Foreman, an Raker is responsible for redistributing asphalt mix as it leaves the screed, ensuring proper placement and preparation for rolling. As an integral member of the paving crew, the Raker performs tasks such as raking asphalt, shoveling excess material, sweeping debris, and other labor-related duties to support the paving operation.
