The Financial Controller manages day-to-day operations of the Operational Accounting and Corporate Finance departments, reporting to the CFO. Key duties include overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow analysis, and leading the finance team to support corporate decision-making.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and a CPA designation, with an MBA considered an asset. Candidates must have 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience specifically within the Oil and Gas and Mining industries.

Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations and leadership of the Operational Accounting and Corporate Finance departments of the Fort McKay Group of Companies. The incumbent will work closely with Management and the Executive Team to accomplish the company’s goals and objectives based on the business and partnership plans.
This is a safety-sensitive position that may require completion of pre-employment/pre-access testing.

Work Schedule is Monday to Friday; 8 hours per day

Fort McKay Group of Companies (FMGOC) is a large oilfield construction and services company located in Alberta. FMGOC is comprised of 3 Limited Partnerships; Fort McKay Strategic Services LP, Fort McKay Logistics LP and Fort McKay Mechanical Services.
