Responsible for implementing equipment maintenance practices, managing site vendors, and supervising field mechanics on renewable energy project sites. The role involves managing equipment budgets, ensuring DOT compliance, and coordinating the transport and inspection of assets.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and between three to five years of heavy equipment or construction experience depending on the level. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of 100% travel across the US.
The Field Equipment Manager will be responsible for implementing equipment maintenance practices on job site, work with vendors to obtain parts and supplies, and implement proper maintenance forecasting. The Field Equipment Manager will supervise the field mechanic on site and work closely with the Regional Equipment Manager.
Location & Travel Details: You’ll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build renewable projects. This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You’ll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diem in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses. This position is eligible for routine travel home (rotation) from the jobsite. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
