The Development Associate will assist the Managing Director in sourcing, underwriting, and managing multifamily development projects from inception to disposition. Responsibilities include conducting field investigations, managing entitlement and permitting activities, and coordinating with construction and property management teams.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and possess three to five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in advanced Excel financial modeling and Adobe software is required, with preference given to registered planners or engineers.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related degree from a four-year college or university
Three to five years related experience and/or training
Proficient in advanced Excel Financial Modeling
Proficient in Adobe
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Preferred Qualifications
Registered planner or engineer
Experience with Multifamily Municipalities and entitlement preferred
