The Internal Dispatcher plans and coordinates the movement of equipment across the company network to maximize fleet utilization. Key duties include assigning loads to drivers, routing, obtaining permits, and managing freight rates and damage claims.
Candidates must have experience in the trucking or transportation industry and a strong knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement. A valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required, while a bachelor's degree and pilot car certification are preferred.
