Overview
As a Material Handler 1 at Snap-on AutoCrib, you will be responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth in our warehouse and inventory management operations.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently load and unload freight using appropriate tools and
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity of stock records.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to
Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging; identify and dispose of defective items
Pick, stage, and verify materials for production orders or customer shipments in accordance with pick lists, ensuring accuracy and proper sequence of operations.
Transfer inventory and prepare job kits based on order requirements to support efficient production
Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to optimize
Safely operate all necessary equipment and tools as

Previous warehousing, logistics, or material handling experience is beneficial but not
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs.
