The Patent Application Specialist is responsible for reviewing, formatting, and converting patent application data to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards. They must compare data against source documents, edit technical content, and manage the final delivery of publication files.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience. Applicants must be U.S. citizens capable of passing government background investigations and possess strong computer and communication skills.

However, candidates are responsible for personal travel to closest USPTO office for PIV card, computer equipment, system access, training, and other contract support purposes as needed/required. Telework is subject to change based on customer needs/requirements.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Patent Application Specialist (Reviewer) to support patent application processing by reviewing, formatting, processing, and converting patent application publication data. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

Work is performed in an office setting. The role requires periods of standing, walking, and sitting, as well as the ability to communicate in person and by telephone. Regular use of a computer is required throughout the workday.
