Full job description
Janney is an award-winning full-service financial services firm committed to understanding our clients' needs and providing advice beyond investments. We are equally committed to building a diverse workforce and inclusive culture where employees can use their talents to thrive and grow professionally with the firm.
As a Registered Private Client Associate, you will be an integral member of a collaborative four-person team supporting a well-established wealth management practice. Working alongside experienced Financial Advisors, you'll help deliver an exceptional client experience while ensuring the day-to-day operations of the practice run seamlessly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships, thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, and takes pride in supporting a high-performing team.
About the Team
Our team is an established wealth management practice within Janney Montgomery Scott with more than 65 years of combined industry experience serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners
Recognized by Forbes for excellence in wealth management, our team has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful financial guidance, disciplined investment management, and highly personalized client service. We are committed to providing a high-touch client experience, fostering strong collaboration, and upholding a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous excellence. Just as importantly, we believe the best work is accomplished in an environment where hard work, mutual respect, and a good sense of humor go hand in hand.
This is much more than a traditional administrative role. As a Registered Private Client Associate, you will play an integral part in the daily operations of a high-performing advisory practice. You will work directly alongside experienced advisors who value collaboration, trust, and open communication, while investing in the long-term success and professional development of the right candidate.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team, takes pride in doing things the right way, and genuinely enjoys helping others. If you're someone who likes staying organized, building relationships with clients, finding ways to improve processes, and contributing to a collaborative culture where everyone pitches in, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing prompt and thoughtful support
Coordinate meetings and communications between clients and advisors
Ensure every client interaction reflects professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
Keep the Operational Engine Running You’ll help ensure that the behind-the-scenes work supporting our advisory practice runs smoothly. Responsibilities include:
Opening and maintaining investment accounts
Preparing and processing client documentation
Coordinating asset transfers and account updates
Monitoring requests to ensure timely completion
Supporting client events and marketing initiatives
Support Investment and Money Movement Requests Working closely with advisors and operations teams, you will help facilitate account activity, including:
Processing trades and transaction requests
Initiating wires, ACH transfers, and internal account journals
Tracking requests through completion while maintaining strict accuracy
Prepare Advisors for Meaningful Client Conversations Your organization and preparation will help advisors focus on delivering great advice. You will:
Assemble client meeting materials and portfolio reports
Update CRM systems and maintain client records
Capture meeting notes and coordinate follow-up items
What Makes You a Great Fit
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
A natural communicator who enjoys helping people
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive—someone who anticipates needs rather than waits to be asked
A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
What you have Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
Experience in the financial services industry preferred, but not required.
Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 strongly preferred or if unlicensed able to obtain licensing within twelve months from date of hire
