The Broadcast Technician will install, troubleshoot, and maintain broadcast systems, equipment, and IP-based workflows to ensure reliable news operations. They will also collaborate with production teams and vendors to support live and recorded broadcasts while maintaining technical documentation.
Candidates must have post-secondary education in Broadcast Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in troubleshooting broadcast electronic systems. Proficiency in digital signal integration, IT networking, and technical documentation software like Visio is required.

About the Role:
Global News Technology is seeking a full-time Broadcast Technician based in Toronto. Reporting to the Manager, News Technology, the successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to supporting reliable broadcast operations while demonstrating Corus values. As this is a 24/7 operation, the position requires shift work, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as required.
