The Electronics Technician will perform functional testing and debugging of electrical subassemblies while collaborating with engineering teams on PCB design improvements. They will also manage electronics subcontractors, oversee component procurement, and ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, with at least 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing and 1 year of experience in debugging electronic assemblies for the level II role. Proficiency in quality standards like IPC-610 and experience with CAD software are highly desirable.

Our Space Systems team has enabled more than 1,700 missions, ranging from interplanetary exploration and in-space manufacturing to national security and defense initiatives. Based out of Rocket Lab’s site, the Electronics Technician I/II will play a leading role in the design and implementation of electrical support equipment for spacecraft components, including reaction wheels and star trackers. This role also supports the continuous improvement of electrical designs, processes, and facilities. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Ontario Pay Transparency Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
Base salary is only one part of Rocket Lab’s compensation package for this role. You may be eligible for company stock, or cash incentives, and can purchase discounted stock through Rocket Lab’s Employee Stock Purchase Program.
