The Facilities Maintenance Technician I (MT1) performs a variety of skilled duties in one or more building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, drywall or other recognized crafts for purposes of maintaining, repairing or remodeling all owned and leased buildings and facilities to include HVAC and other mechanical systems. | |
Minimum Qualifications: | |
Education | High School or GED |
Experience | Two or more years prior maintenance experience required, with 1 to 2 years’ experience in commercial maintenance preferred. |
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration | Electrical, plumbing or HVAC certification is preferred but not necessary. Florida driver’s license required. |
