About the Program
The Solo With Supports (SWS) Program helps youth build the life skills, confidence, and independence they need as they transition into adulthood. Youth may live in a mentor support home or in CHIMO's Transition Home while receiving individualized support.
As a Youth Coordinator, you'll support a caseload of youth by providing guidance, case management, and hands-on support to help them reach their goals.

We provide multiple services including group care homes, independent living, and family support programs. In 1970, Chimo was founded as a private, non-profit society. The original mandate for the group care program was to provide interim care for youth in the Edmonton area. Over the years, as the needs of the community have grown and changed, the mandate, services and programs of the Chimo Youth Retreat Centre have kept pace. It is our goal to provide an environment that fosters positive personal growth and we are committed to ensuring quality services to every one of our children, youth and families.
