$3/hour AZ Premium when directed to operate equipment that require AZ
$5/hour Grader Operator premium (does not apply to employees holding the Grader Operator classification
Work Conditions
Local applicants will be given preference due to the location of the work
As we respond to various weather patterns, shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required
Work schedules will consist of either 5 consecutive days followed by 2 days off or 6 consecutive days followed by 1 day off, with daily shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours (Shop specific)

Essential Responsibilities
Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including assisting with Labourer duties (pothole repair, guardrail repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
Work outside in all weather conditions
Qualifications
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs. on a regular basis, bending, kneeling, crouching etc.
Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract
Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset

Compensation
$25.50 - $33.50 per hour
This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.
Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
