The Relief III worker provides quality design and delivery of day services for adults with disabilities within the CADO program. Responsibilities include developing Individual Support Plans and maintaining professional relationships with clients, guardians, and community stakeholders.
Candidates must have post-secondary education in Human Services and a current Basic First Aid/CPR/AED certification. A satisfactory Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sectors Search is mandatory.
Program Summary
The Calgary Alternative Day Options (CADO) program is a community-based day program serving adults with disabilities. The program occurs in inclusive settings which allow natural interaction with a variety of people. Clients can choose to do one or more of the following: self employment, volunteering, recreation & leisure. For each of these options, clients are supported to set goals, develop new skills, and create natural supports within the community.
