Job Summary:
The Lead Maintenance Technician at Inspire Communities plays a critical role in delivering exceptional living experiences for our residents. This position is responsible for maintaining the physical condition, safety, and overall appearance of the community while providing outstanding customer service.
This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional who takes pride in the community, responds with urgency to maintenance needs, and leads by example in maintaining high operational standards.
What You'll Do
Deliver top-tier customer service to residents
Assign and complete maintenance service requests efficiently
Identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively
Perform routine inspections and document results
Prepare vacant homes for new residents
Maintain accurate records and communicate with management
Manage inventory within budget
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop
Coordinate vendors and contractors
Assist with preventative maintenance programs
Maintain community systems and report issues
Perform grounds maintenance and cleanliness tasks
Assist with weather-related preparation and cleanup
Ensure compliance with safety policies
What We're Looking For
Ability to lift 50–100 pounds occasionally and perform physical labor.
3–5 years maintenance experience preferred with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
