The Senior Business Data Governance Analyst will drive enterprise data solutions by aligning business requirements with technology teams and facilitating data solution implementation. They will also implement data quality management initiatives, develop data quality rules, and create data visualizations to support business analysis.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in data analytics and management, along with a bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools, query languages, and data visualization platforms is required, with experience in Agile methodologies and data governance preferred.
Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and IT for data solution implementation
Implement data quality management initiatives by defining and developing data quality rules, designing dashboards, integrating with the business glossary, and automating the end-to-end process.
Create data visualizations using Power BI to explain data analysis recommendations
3+ years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or a similar field.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
Intermediate experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL Server, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Intermediate experience with RDBMS and query language such as T-SQL, PL/SQL, Spark SQL=U. Experience using data profiling/wrangling tools like informatica (preferred), Collibra, Alteryx.
Experience with project management and managing multiple priorities and deliverables along with 5+ years’ experience with data analysis, enterprise data warehouse, and source to target mapping.
Intermediate experience presenting findings from large datasets in a clear, actionable way.
Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning preferred.
Experience in Agile, SAFe, and/or Scrum, and experience working with data governance and integrating data quality, catalog, and lineage preferred.
Certifications within Microsoft such as Azure Fundamentals or Fabric is preferred.
