The Therapist III provides direct clinical services, including diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders through individual, group, and family therapy. They are responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating discharge and after-care planning.
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology and a provisional or full license in North Carolina are required. Candidates must have at least four years of therapy experience, including two years with the facility's specific population.
About the Job:
The Therapist III is a part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for providing direct clinical services to clients and their families by diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral. Completes Psychosocial Assessments; providing individual, group and family therapy for clients; facilitating psycho-educational training, family meetings, discharge planning; assisting in program development; developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans; and providing linkage to outside resources.Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required.
Provisional of Fully licensed in the state of North Carolina required.
At least four years of experience as a therapist with two or more years’ experience with the specific population of the facility required.
