What You’ll Do
Support individuals with daily living skills like cooking, hygiene, and routines Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance Help coordinate and attend medical appointments and community activities Implement individualized support and behavioral plans Administer medications following proper procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment Provide transportation as needed Complete documentation and progress reports Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers Act as a positive, consistent role model
What to Expect
This is an active, hands-on role where you’ll support individuals both at home and in the community. Responsibilities may include physical care, behavioral support (including trained interventions), and household tasks.

Valid Driver’s License. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet. Successful completion and maintenance of all state and agency mandated trainings, including medication administration. Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals under supervision, employees of the organization, families, and members of the community.
