Lead the operation and strategic development of technical facilities, including the Workshop, Mountain Athlete Lab, and Materials Lab. Support Advanced Concepts projects through fabrication, rapid prototyping, and the management of equipment and workflows.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant science discipline with over 5 years of hands-on experience in lab or workshop environments. Must possess strong skills in CAD, CNC milling, 3D printing, and the ability to lead technical workflows.
As the Lab and Workshop Technical Lead on our Advanced Concepts team, you lead the operation, evolution, and strategic development of our technical, scientific, and engineering facilities, including our Workshop, Mountain Athlete Lab, and Materials Lab. Partnering closely with Advanced Concepts and Product Creation teams, you enable rapid prototyping, testing, and experimentation to solve complex performance challenges for mountain athletes. This is a highly hands-on role that combines technical leadership, facility management, and direct project support across fabrication, 3D printing, and testing workflows.
This role is based in our North Vancouver office and is expected to be performed on-site.
The Advanced Concepts team drives breakthrough innovation in snow, trail and climb for the mountain athlete everywhere. Fueled by curiosity, we take a holistic approach to identifying future needs and tangible solutions across advanced materials, products, technologies, and experiences. We are a team of builders, problem solvers and outdoor enthusiasts. Our in-house end-to-end capabilities in research, engineering, design, development, digital and validation allow us to innovate head-to-toe solutions that bring the coast mountain experience to the world.
