The Buyer II will independently manage purchase requests from requisition through delivery while ensuring compliance with company policies and operational requirements. They are responsible for sourcing equipment, negotiating commercial terms, and resolving procurement-related issues such as pricing variances and supply shortages.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably within the mining or heavy industrial sectors. A post-secondary diploma in a relevant field is required, and progress toward a professional supply chain designation is considered an asset.
