ABOUT QUINCE
Founded in 2018, Quince was built to challenge the idea that nice things have to cost a lot. Our mission is simple: to make really high quality essentials for really low prices, produced fairly and sustainably. We believe everyone deserves exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design without the traditional markups. Quince is a direct-to-consumer (DTC) model that cuts out middlemen and leverages just-in-time manufacturing to minimize waste and maximize value.
Quince is a tech company disrupting the retail industry by putting AI, analytics and automation at the center of everything we do. Our unwavering commitment to excellence and company values guide our teams and actions:
Customer First: We prioritize customer satisfaction in every decision.
High Quality: True quality means premium materials and rigorous production standards you can feel good about.
Essential Design: We focus on timeless, functional essentials instead of chasing trends.
Always a Better Deal: Innovation and transparency ensure value for both customers and partners.
Social & Environmental Responsibility: We commit to sustainable materials, ethical production, and fair wages.
Quince partners with world-class manufacturers across the globe and serves millions of customers. With strong investor backing and a focus on sustainable growth, we are a company that is rapidly scaling while maintaining a commitment to quality, simplicity, and radical price transparency.
OUR TEAM AND SUCCESS
At Quince, you will be part of a high-performing team that is redefining what quality, value, and sustainability mean in modern retail. We are a destination for builders, innovators, and operators to come together and challenge the status quo. Our collective ambition is bold. We are creating an entirely new category and customer experience – one that democratizes luxury and provides high quality products at radically low prices. That mission demands a world-class team committed to excellence.
If you are motivated by impact, growth, and purpose, you will find a strong sense of belonging at Quince.
THE ROLE
Global PD Manager, Bedding
We are seeking a Global PD Manager, Bedding to join our growing team at Quince. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products are launched in a timely manner while achieving the highest quality standards.
At Quince, we believe that everyone deserves access to high quality products at radically affordable prices. We believe the marketplace for consumer products is inundated with too many options, and customers find product quality difficult to determine and yet frequently pay more for a variety of things that can be delivered at much lower prices. Our goal is to find the best products in the marketplace and connect the makers of these goods directly to the customers who want them.
Quince has proven the consumer value proposition and has built a loyal, repeat consumer base. We want to build on that value proposition and continue to scale in both existing and new product categories. The Global PD Manager, Bedding will be responsible for accelerating the development of new products, consistently raising the bar on quality, ensuring consistent execution across our vendor base, and aligning cross-functional teams around shared new product metrics and goals.
Quince's growth and success is directly tied to the performance and success of this role. The person in this role will be an innovator at heart leveraging the attributes below to build and run our emerging categories strategy.
Responsibilities
Own and actively manage day-to-day product development timelines across new products, color and size extensions, vendor transitions, and refreshes, tracking milestones and escalating risks early.
Serve as the central point of coordination across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative, and Vendors to ensure alignment on development status and dependencies.
Ensure all required product documentation is accurate, complete, and ready prior to vendor handoff, including technical specifications, build documentation, testing requirements, and fit inputs.
Coordinate and track all sample requests, shipments, reviews, fit requests, and revisions to drive efficiency and maintain momentum toward target timelines.
Facilitate timely product reviews and approvals by Merchandising, Fit, and Technical teams; track testing requests and results to ensure quality outcomes are clearly communicated.
Run in-person country development trips with Global Merchants, Global Fit, and Local PD teams to accelerate decision-making and strengthen vendor execution.
Partner with Sourcing to support timely staging of materials and finished-goods production; coordinate delivery of photo samples to Creative to ensure marketing and launch readiness.
Maintain clean, accurate, real-time data across all product development systems and tracking tools to ensure transparency and support fast execution.
Qualifications
Required:
Role is based in San Francisco California, with 3 days per week in office requirement.
10+ years in product development or factory-facing roles
Deep functional category expertise, including product and material standardsExtensive experience working directly with factories and sample rooms
Comfortable operating independently and navigating ambiguity Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and quality enhancement
Clear communicator across language, cultural, and functional boundaries
Proven track record of progressing within an organization and demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilities
Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges

Quince is a consumer technology platform rebuilding retail from the infrastructure up. Through its proprietary Manufacturer-to-Consumer (M2C) operating system, the company integrates AI–driven demand forecasting, real-time production planning, and direct factory partnerships to align supply precisely with customer demand, removing the layers of markup, inventory risk, and inefficiency historically embedded in pricing.
The company was built on a simple premise: premium quality should not require traditional retail markups. By redesigning how products are made, priced, and delivered, Quince restores transparency to modern retail and expands access to high-quality products across the categories people care about most. That system has quickly established Quince as a trusted destination for customers seeking premium materials, consistent quality, and pricing free from traditional retail markups. The result is a structurally more efficient model that challenges the economics of traditional retail and positions Quince as one of the fastest-growing consumer platforms in the industry.
