At Fremont Hospital, our Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance & Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her unit.
Primary Responsibilities
Fremont Hospital is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for adolescents, adults and seniors. Dedicated to hope, healing and recovery, we are working to transform the delivery of healthcare. Fremont Hospital is located in the city of Fremont’s medical community, easily accessible to bay area residents. Our facility provides a continuum of services through assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Fremont Hospital offers comprehensive benefits, such as:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management.
Experience: Three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing and is in good standing.
Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of TJC, CMS, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR (AED) certification must be obtained prior to the completion of orientation.
