FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
This position is classified as salaried non-exempt in accordance with FLSA standards.
Job Description:
The HR Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of comprehensive administrative functions in this fast-paced human resources department. The individual will ensure a smooth-running office daily and will coordinate operations in the department. This ideal candidate must be a polished professional with great interpersonal and phone skills.
Responsibilities:
Providing administrative/secretarial support to the department.
Completing administrative tasks and projects.
Answer questions, direct requests to appropriate staff, and work with others in the department to resolve issues.
Create tracking systems (insurance coverage, performance reviews, and other department functions).
Coordinate and schedule department meetings.
Make business travel arrangements.
Order and track supplies for the department.
Other duties as needed.
Skills:
MUST have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to develop systems.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to multitask and handle confidential and delicate situations.
Self-starter, confident, motivated by challenge, and ability to work effectively without continual supervision.
Keen sense of urgency.
Positive personality that enjoys multitasking.
Able to work under tight deadlines.
Advanced in MS Office and computer applications.
Must be flexible and available to work additional hours occasionally.
Experience:
3 + years of administrative experience in a fast-paced human resource environment
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Education Requirement:
College courses or degree preferred
