Northrop Grumman is seeking a Payroll Assistant 3 candidate in our Irving, Texas location. This position will require an in office arrangement and is not full virtual.
Role & Responsibilities:
•Load and validate supplemental pay request
•Perform research on demand
•Customer Service
•Sector POC support
•Resolve audit findings each payroll process
•Respond to inquiries from customers regarding deductions, calculations and changes in compensation within SLA
•Basic Ad hoc query request
•Assisted with creating scenario-based audit reports

Required Qualifications -
High school diploma & 1 years of related education, i.e.: business or accounting and/or relevant work experience
Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (excel, word, and PowerPoint)
Payroll processing experience including relevant regulatory requirements; internal policy and procedure; accounting practices; system software requirements
Knowledge of FLSA, federal and state laws, etc.
Experience performing basic payroll calculations
Experience operating a personal computer including standard software and some specialized accounting software
1 year of experience involving extensive payroll duties
Fundamentals of Payroll Certification [1 year completion requirement following hire. ]

SAP experience
Prior experience working in a shared service or center of excellence environment
Primary Level Salary Range: $49,100.00 - $81,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
