The Registered Practical Nurse will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and develop health care plans for residents in a geriatric setting. They are also responsible for supervising nursing staff, managing department operations in the absence of the Director of Care, and liaising with families and physicians.
Candidates must hold a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess Medication Administration, CPR, and First Aid certifications. A minimum of two years of experience, preferably in geriatrics, is required along with strong supervisory and communication skills.
