The Program Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates recreational programs and events to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of residents. They also maintain accurate documentation, including assessments and care plans, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a post-secondary diploma, degree, or certificate in recreation, therapeutic recreation, or gerontology. Experience working with seniors and proficiency in documentation systems like interRAI-MDS are required.

The Program Therapist reports to the Programs Manager and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate programs, outings and events that meet the residents’ physical, social, emotional, intellectual, cognitive, spiritual and cultural needs.
Wage Rate:
The starting wage rate is $23.99/hour.
