Full job description
Based in Miami, the primary hub for US Offshore and Latin American wealth management, your role as Investor Relations and Content Creation Specialist will focus on cultivating high value relationships across top tier wealth management firms, private banks, and family offices.
You will be responsible for mapping out the market, connecting with international financial advisors and fund selectors, and recruiting these key investors to attend Citywire’s premier events. Simultaneously, you will serve as a key storyteller for the region: creating engaging editorial, multimedia, and social content that captures market intelligence, showcases your day to day audience interactions, and elevates Citywire’s editorial presence.
What you’ll be doing:
Establish, nurture, and expand professional relationships with US Offshore and LatAm wealth managers, financial advisors, and fund selectors.
Identify and recruit high calibre investment professionals to attend Citywire’s exclusive conferences and roundtables.
Partner closely with the Events team to ensure seamless event planning, attendee management, and execution.
Actively gather qualitative audience insights, tracking industry movements and key personnel changes across firms.
Research, interview industry leaders, and author featured articles, market overviews, and regional profiles for monthly publication.
Plan and execute a strategy on LinkedIn and other professional platforms, posting multiple times per week to highlight client meetings, industry news, and behind the scenes event coverage.
Conduct short form video interviews and produce engaging multimedia clips (podcasts, video spotlights, event recaps) featuring key fund selectors and industry personalities.
Work alongside the central editorial team to pitch story ideas, translate audience insights into trend reports, and contribute to regular email newsletters.
Drive live, on the ground content creation during Citywire conferences, including social takeovers, speaker highlights, and delegate interviews.
What we’re looking for:
Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is highly preferred.
Experience: Some experience in a similar client facing and relationship building role, internship, or related position is preferred.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a flair for creative storytelling across written, digital, and video mediums.
Organization: Strong project management abilities to handle multiple priorities, event deadlines, and content schedules simultaneously.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel across the US Offshore market and Latin America as required.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with social media publishing tools or basic video editing applications.
Industry Understanding: You bring, or are eager to build, knowledge of wealth management, investment advisory firms, and the broader financial services landscape.
