The Opportunity
As Vice President of Information Technology, you will lead a talented team of IT professionals while reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. You will define and execute an enterprise-wide technology vision that accelerates growth, strengthens operational excellence, and advances our vision across Canada.
This is a transformational leadership position. You will position technology as a competitive advantage by modernizing core systems, harnessing the power of data and artificial intelligence, and constructing a secure, scalable digital foundation that supports our people, clients, and the communities we serve.
This role requires an enterprise mindset, the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and exceptional people leadership. You are a collaborative, high-performing leader who builds trust, develops strong teams, and influences effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
This is more than a technology leadership role. It is an opportunity to architect the future.

Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy aligned with business priorities, with a focus on applications and the impact of AI.
Collaborate with executive leadership and senior management to assess business needs, shape technology roadmaps, and deliver cost-effective technology solutions.
Oversee the organization’s application portfolio, ensuring systems are integrated, scalable and align with current and future business requirements.
Lead technology modernization initiatives by rationalizing legacy applications, reducing system duplication, improving interoperability, and simplifying the technology landscape.
Establish multi-year technology investment plans, application lifecycle strategies, and business capability roadmaps that align technology investments with organizational priorities.
Partner with business leaders to drive digital transformation through automation, AI, and modern platforms.
Identify, evaluate and integrate emerging technologies through a structured process that strengthens service quality and competitive differentiation.
Ensure the right technology infrastructure, security controls, and risk management practices are in place to support scalable AI adoption.
Ensure all technology solutions align with global security, infrastructure, architecture, identity, data protection, cloud, network, endpoint, monitoring, and operational support standards set by the global technology function.
Collaborate with global technology leadership to apply common platforms, approved technology patterns, secure design principles, and operational support models while accommodating company specific requirements.
Provide direction, oversight and accountability for the maintenance of cybersecurity safeguards and IT General Controls that are required to mitigate systemic operations risks.
Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring disciplined financial stewardship and strong return on technology investments.
Establish and oversee IT service management agreements that ensure consistent delivery and performance of services.
Build trust and alignment across the organization through clear communication and strong relationships.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring clear understanding and alignment across the organization.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
Oversee recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning for IT talent.
