The Structural Engineer will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of structural solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include performing engineering analyses, preparing technical deliverables, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess at least 5 years of relevant design experience. Proficiency in structural software such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit, along with knowledge of IBC and ACI standards, is required.

As climate change, urbanization, and aging systems place increasing demands on water infrastructure, our Resilience Water team is at the forefront of delivering sustainable solutions that protect communities, ecosystems, and critical resources for generations to come.
As a Structural Engineer with our Resilience Water team, you will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of structural solutions across a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects. These may include water and wastewater treatment facilities, stormwater and flood resilience systems, shoreline and coastal stabilization, and resilient distribution and collection infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative designs that balance technical excellence, sustainability, and constructability. Additional responsibilities include:
Successful candidates will bring hands-on experience in structural design for water/wastewater infrastructure projects, with proficiency in STAAD Pro and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. A solid understanding of applicable codes and standards—such as the International Building Code (IBC) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) guidelines—is essential. You should be comfortable preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and schedules, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. This role is well-suited for engineers who thrive in collaborative environments and are motivated by sustainability, resilience, and innovative problem-solving.

Arcadis offers benefits for full-time and part-time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $87,900 - 158,240. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
