QA1 is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Support and Sales Representativeto join our Lakeville, Minnesota based team. In this role, you’ll combine your enthusiasm for our products with your commitment to helping customers by offering expert technical support, processing orders, and building strong relationships. From resolving technical challenges to educating consumers on the companies amazing products, you’ll play a key role in delivering top-notch service and contributing to QA1 continuing to be an industry leader in high-performance suspension components for motorsports and industrial markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in vehicle suspension systems, whether gained through professional experience or hobbies. The perfect candidate will bring a blend of experience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to support QA1's commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and innovative product solutions.
What You Will Do:
Provide technical assistance and product information on vehicle suspension systems and QA1 products to end users and dealers via phone and email.
Process customer orders through multiple channels (i.e., phone, email, fax, electronic data interface).
Share product cross-reference information, current pricing, and delivery details with customers.
Communicate with the production team to obtain relevant ETA and delivery updates for out-of-stock items.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of QA1 products and services, as well as the automotive industry.
Handle end-user and dealer inquiries or complaints in a professional and diplomatic manner.
Maintain accurate customer interaction records, contacts, orders, and RMAs in the company ERP system.
Identify new opportunities and qualify them before passing them to account managers.
Travels and attends company events and trade shows as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Periodically attend and represent QA1 at trade shows, company events, and customer visits to engage with stakeholders and promote products.
Other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1.
The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education including in technical specialty preferred
4+ years of related experience and/or training in vehicle suspension systems; we encourage candidates with experience from automotive parts retailers, dealerships, or similar settings to apply. We also welcome QA1 product enthusiasts who have gained knowledge through personal hobbies or self-directed learning
Knowledge in Mopar, Auto-Cross, and/or Street Truck applications a plus
Demonstrated excitement for the QA1, Detroit Speed & Engineering, and SpeedTech Performance products
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties
Strong out-of-the-box problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and approach challenges from innovative angles
Proactive, positive attitude, and collaborative approach to challenges
Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening) and ability to build rapport internally and externally
Customer centric and detail oriented
Demonstrable technical proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and capable of quickly training and becoming proficient with other Microsoft application and QA1’s ERP system (Syteline)
