The geologist is responsible for conducting desktop geological assessments, field data collection, and supervising drilling and laboratory testing contractors. They will also lead geotechnical explorations, perform engineering calculations, and prepare technical reports and construction plans.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in geology or geological engineering with 0-2 years of experience. Proficiency in gINT, MS Office, and geotechnical design software like GeoStudio is required, along with the ability to travel and work overtime.

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a candidate for a Geologist or Geological Engineer to be part of our Railway Market Unit. The location is in our St. Louis, MO office.
General assignment: Responsible for desktop geological assessment/study, field data collection, coordination and supervision of drilling and laboratory test contractors, construction observations, and other duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position, depending on relevant experience is:
$63,000 - $80,000
