At Barnhart, we don’t just haul freight — we move some of the largest, most complex loads in North America. As a Driver, you’ll be trusted with oversized, high-value equipment while working alongside a team known for tackling the toughest transport challenges in the industry.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Transport over-dimensional loads including modules and oilfield equipment
Operate a range of equipment from 53’ trailers to multi-axle
Handle local and over-the-road hauls, including super loads
Work closely with pilot cars and crew members to execute safe deliveries
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
Support both highway transport and some off-road hauling

What You Bring
Required:
CDL Class A license
Class C/D Driver's License
Experience with over-dimensional or heavy haul transport
At least 1+ year operating large platform trailers
Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement
Able to operate a variety of forklifts and heavy machinery.
Willing to learn and efficiently operate hydraulic gantry, hydraulic jacks, and various machinery moving equipment.
Strong communication and ability to work in a team environment
Flexibility to travel
Preferred:
Experience with multi-axle configurations or Goldhofer equipment
Additional Expectations:
Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed
Work Environment
40–70 hours per week depending on workload
Frequent travel with 80%+ overnight trips
Mix of highway and occasional off-road hauling
Team-based projects with rotating schedules (days/nights/weekends as needed)
