Requires a high school diploma and completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program. Must obtain BLS certification and one of the recognized MA certifications (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA) within specified timeframes.

High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
