Provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting while pursuing a nursing degree. Participants will engage in mentorship and professional development to prepare for a career in mental health nursing.
Applicants must be currently enrolled and in good standing in a nursing program at a partner college or university. Candidates must commit to working at Pine Rest during school and for two years following licensure.

Each day, we are closing the gaps in access to care. We are innovating through leading-edge research, testing, programs, and treatment modalities that others replicate across the country. Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is proud to partner with local universities to offer nursing students an incredible opportunity through the Pine Rest Nursing Academy. Our academy provides up to $10,000 in tuition assistance per semester (up to $40,000 total), helping students pursue their passion for nursing with financial support and career advancement. In return, participants agree to work at Pine Rest during school and commit to two years of employment following licensure.
