Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton. Following a six-month probation period, this position will be eligible to apply to the University of Alberta Work from Home Program for a hybrid work arrangement.
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta is one of Canada’s leading academic health centres for pediatric specialty and subspecialty education and research. Collaborating closely with the Program Director and reporting to the Medical Education Team Lead, the MEPC provides essential day-to-day administrative support and acts as a primary liaison among faculty, trainees, and external stakeholders. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, sound decision-making, and critical thinking. Equally important are initiative, adaptability, and the ability to multitask effectively in a high-paced and demanding environment. The ideal MEPC is a positive, community-oriented individual who thrives in collaborative settings. A comprehensive understanding of the specific requirements of the education program is crucial, with one year of on-the-job training necessary to develop the skills and expertise needed for success.
