The role involves designing BAS panel and network layouts, selecting DDC modules and control devices, and developing commissioning checklists. The designer is responsible for functional testing of programming and coordinating with project managers to ensure compliance with specifications and budgetary guidelines.
Candidates must have a university degree in engineering or a related field and over 5 years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services. Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, building codes (ASHRAE, NFPA), and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are required.

We are currently seeking a highly energetic and organized individual to work in our System Application-Design Department as a System Designer with emphasis on BAS system design.
The salary range is $70,000 to $120,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as short-term incentives and health insurance, among others.
