The Electric Motor Mechanic is responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to fabricate, modify, and repair industrial motor components. They must also perform on-site diagnostics, assemble and test stators and rotors, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Candidates should have a minimum of a grade 12 education and possess strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial processes. A valid driver's license and the ability to work independently or within a team are required.

The Electric Motor Mechanic will be responsible for set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Ability to fabricate, modify, or repair motor instruments, fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines and should be able to apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
The pay range is $28.00 to $38.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards, benefits and health insurance, among others.
