Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Taylor Drive Gas Bar in Red Deer is the perfect place for you! We're currently seeking a part-time Gas Bar Attendant to join our dynamic team.
CAC is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15 to 24.
Position: Gas Bar Attendant
Part-time: 24 to 36 hours per week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service
Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Dispense fuel and propane with precision – applicable locations
Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Team player with the ability to work independently
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available
