How you'll make an impact in this role
Develop and lead the implementation of policy, procedures and initiatives for assigned services.
Work collaboratively with insurance partners and clinic/hospital partners in developing Population Health programs.
Develop service area goals and standards consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirement of the health care delivery system.
Plan, organize and direct activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives.
Prepare service area budget and ensure that department operates within allocated funds.
Coordinate and direct internal and external driven audits.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management.
What additional requirements you'll need
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience (leading people, teams, or departments)
Master's degree required
Prior experience with Maryland's Total Cost of Care (TCOC) reimbursement model and value-based contracting
