The Senior Manager is responsible for leading private sector accounting, auditing, and tax engagements while serving as the primary liaison between staff, clients, and partners. They also manage client portfolios, ensure exceptional service delivery, and actively participate in acquiring new clientele.
Candidates must hold a CPA designation and possess at least 5 years of public practice experience with private-enterprise clients. Strong technical proficiency in compilations, review engagements, and tax planning is required, along with proven leadership and staff development capabilities.
About the role
We’re currently looking for two Senior Managers for Private Enterprise team — one based in our Vancouver office and one in our Tri-Cities office.
The Senior Manager of Private Sector is responsible for leading work for our private sector clients by leading a variety of accounting, auditing and tax engagements including, but not limited to, planning, preparing, managing, reviewing and executing client work. The Senior Manager is also responsible for ensuring exceptional client delivery of service to clients within their portfolio. Considered the main point of contact for the engagement, the Senior Manager of Private Sector is a liaison between staff, the clients and Partners. In addition to communicating directly with existing clients and resolving any issues that may arise, the Senior Manager of Private Sector is also responsible for acquiring new clientele.
