As a Business Development - Off Highway Aftermarket, you will drive sales growth by managing distributor relationships, expanding market presence, and executing strategies for market development and product launches across South East Asia markets. You will analyze market trends, identify opportunities and risks, and provide regular reports to support business decisions while maintaining strong customer relationships, including within off-highway segments such as earth-moving, industrial, marine, and mining applications.

• Manage existing distributors to ensure the planned levels of sales in the given targeted markets across South East Asia.

• Prospecting and open new distributor accounts in selected markets given, including expansion beyond South East Asia.

• Manage the existing distributor’s performance, push for sales target achievement.

• Identify and monitor the trends in given markets and analyze competition, including off-highway segments (earth-moving, industrial, marine, mining).

• Define opportunities & risks from the market analysis.

• Initiate the action plan for the targeted market development, market penetration, new product launch across South East Asia.

• Report regularly (monthly, quarterly, yearly) to the head of sales on all the above points with focus on growth drivers, preparing and proposing business cases to seize opportunities and mitigation plans to reduce risks impacts.

• Visit customers to maintain and improve relationship with our business partners across the region.

• Conduct direct market research on various products & competitors, including off-highway applications.

• Attend applicable industry events and participate in national, regional, and customer trade shows to support achieving the sales target.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales management and business development within the Automotive Aftermarket sector.

• Experience in off-highway parts business (earth-moving, industrial, marine, mining applications) is highly preferred.

• Experience in the mining industry is considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of the automotive and/or off-highway industry, including products, sales channels, and marketing strategies.

• Regional exposure or experience handling South East Asia markets is preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP is an asset.

• Fluency in English.

• Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong negotiation skills with the capability to create mutually beneficial agreements.

• Demonstrated success in business growth through customer and market expansion.

• Proven ability to collaborate with customers, peers, and management to achieve both short- and long-term objectives.

• Hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and consider diverse perspectives.

• Preferably owns a vehicle for customer visits.

• Experience in international trading and the automotive industry is highly desirable.

• Willingness to travel within the country and across South East Asia.

• This is a home-based regional role and candidate may be located in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or Indonesia.
