The ARNP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating adult patients with acute psychiatric disorders in an inpatient setting. This includes managing medications, conducting risk assessments, and leading interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate patient care.
Candidates must hold a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program and possess active Washington state RN and NP licenses. Required certifications include BLS, DEA licensure, and Adult/Gerontologic Psychiatry or Lifespan certification.
