The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and wrapping surgical instruments to support the patient care team. Additionally, the role involves picking case carts and restocking necessary supplies and instrumentation.
Candidates must obtain a National Certified Registered Central Service Technician or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certification within one year of hire. Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited Healthcare Central Service Program and prior experience in a Central Supply Room or Sterile Processing Department.
