The Diabetes Educator provides individualized and group education, counseling, and support for diabetes management and prevention programs. They deliver evidence-based interventions to improve health outcomes and promote healthy lifestyle behaviors across diverse patient populations.
Candidates must hold a Washington Dietitian or Nutritionist certification and be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. A Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential is required or must be in progress, along with relevant clinical experience.
