Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in an office and/or hybrid environment with extensive phone, computer, and in-person client interaction. Position may require travel to outreach locations, community sites, or temporary work locations, including occasional outdoor settings.
The work environment is frequently fast-paced and may involve clients experiencing crisis situations, emotional distress, or urgent utility needs. Frequent interruptions and changing priorities are common.
Physical requirements may include
Sitting and standing for extended periods Frequent walking throughout office and outreach locations Reaching, bending, and carrying files or office materials Lifting and moving materials weighing up to 20 pounds Repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with computer and office equipment use
Seasonal positions typically operate from late fall through early spring, though some positions may continue year-round depending on program and funding availability.
