The Project Director manages business unit operations, including profit and loss accountability, for multiple concurrent electrical construction projects. They are responsible for leading project teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, and cultivating client relationships to drive division profitability.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent, along with 15+ years of experience in electrical construction. The role requires proficiency in project management software, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to travel 60-80% of the time.
The Traveling Project Director leads and manages a business unit responsible for profit and loss aligned with overall department business plan. The Project Director has overall accountability for ensuring construction projects are performed in a safe and effective manner. This role is fully responsible for cultivating and securing opportunities for future projects by providing excellent customer service, injury free work environment by ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality assurance, and building financially successful projects that are driven by company directives. The Project Director typically oversees 25+ million in annual revenue volume depending on types of markets; with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers reporting to them as well as most administrative staff members. This position will manage teams over several states traveling 50%-100% working time.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Salary range for this position is $155,000-$250,000 annually.
Opportunity for a discretionary year end bonus.
401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)
