The LPN provides quality nursing care and support services to residents according to individualized care plans and facility policies. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program with a current, unrestricted LPN license and CPR/BLS certification. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required, with preference for those with skilled nursing facility experience.
Under the direction of the RN Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides quality nursing care and support services to residents in accordance with established nursing standards, state and federal regulations, and facility policies and procedures. The LPN is responsible for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting the health, safety, and well-being of assigned residents.
We offer BLS and Heartsaver CPR/AED and First aid Training as well as Motorcycle accident FA, and Bloodborne Path.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals instructor trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. My classes are fun, informative, and personable.
